Meet your team...
It’s not uncommon for us to drink cold coffee – by the time we get back from the coffee shop we’ve stopped to chat with everyone we’ve met about what’s new in their lives and with their families.
Engage & Create Consulting is in the business of people – who you are, how you manage situations, and particularly, how you and your business can contribute to the energy and experience of your community.
Based in Goondiwindi, our team works with rural and remote businesses, industry groups, and community organisations like YOURS across our wide brown country. Our vision has always been to create viable and vibrant communities in regional and rural Australia.
We understand the challenges and opportunities facing small businesses in rural communities and support clients like you to improve their business performance to then go on to build proud and profitable regional businesses.
You’ll always get straightforward and straight-shooting with us. We don’t do fancy-schmancy and you’ll never catch us in high heels. In fact, sometimes Jules doesn’t do shoes full stop. We prefer practical and feel good. In shoes and in business.

Julia (Telford) Spicer grew up in a small rural community and learned from an early age the value of everybody contributing. Everyone would volunteer, regardless of age, skill, or ability. Working shoulder to shoulder with her family and others gave her a strong sense of community, and of banding together to HELP.
Julia founded Engage & Create Consulting upon these principles. Today Julia sits on several business and community boards and these help ensure that she has her finger on the pulse of what is happening where a regional woman’s voice needs to be heard. She has been shortlisted for a number of prestigious business awards and is recognised as a compelling authority on women in rural business roles.
Yasmin (Eelkema) Taylor has a background in graphic design and customer service and truly knows the value of looking after clients well. Yasmin handles the copy writing across Engage & Create Consulting’s marketing, social media, and website. She works with community groups and small businesses on grant writing and looks after our online products and community too. Yas values time, health & the little things in life. The best part of her job is assisting organisations to get funding that betters our communities & seeing online products come to life.

Natalie Woods is the wheel that keeps Engage & Create Consulting turning – Nat looks after our day to day running, calendars, scheduling, and the ever-important bookkeeping! Nat is passionate about working in an exciting, meaningful environment, and brings her exquisite attention to detail and perfect coordinating skills to our workshops and events.
We’re experts, but don’t take our word for it…
